Tasting Notes:
The 2017 Barn Burner is sleek and sophisticated, yet powerful. It is a wine so well built that it exudes confidence. Fruity aromas of blackberries, black cherry, cassis and plum are joined by kiwi. The fruit sits between layers of smoked meat, leather, black olives and a whisper of buttered popcorn.

When sipping this particularly well balance and integrated wine, you might want to pick out the black fruit, herbs de Provence, cedar and creamy cocoa found in the palate, but it is best to just sit back and enjoy the beauty and depth. It is simply a delicious wine. The star anise, dark Turbinado sugar and, wait for it – Balinese Long Pepper blend seamlessly with the rich, dark fruit. There is a maturity of character and a brightness that promises a strong future but, you don’t have to wait – it is wonderful right now.
